Privacy Policy
Rising Company removes friction for small businesses, churches, and engineering teams. We keep this simple: we collect as little as possible, we don’t sell your data, and we don’t track you across the web. This page explains exactly what we do collect and why, both here and on the small-business websites we run for our clients.

This policy applies to www.rising.company (the “Site”), operated by Rising Company. It also covers the websites we build and run for small businesses on rising.company subdomains, such as koufuju.rising.company (each a “Business Site”). // 02 — Information We Collect
Information you give us
The Site has one place where you can share information: the contact form. When you use it, we collect the name, email address, and message you submit so we can read and reply to your inquiry.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical data when you visit — for example your IP address, browser type, and the pages you request. This is used to serve the Site, keep it secure, and diagnose problems. We do not use advertising cookies, analytics trackers, or cross-site tracking.
// 03 — Business Websites
On a Business Site, you are dealing with the business named on that site (for example, a restaurant you are ordering from). We build, host, and maintain the site for that business and handle your information on its behalf. We share your information only with that business and with the service providers listed below.
Information you give a Business Site
- Orders — your name, phone number, and optional email; your delivery address if you choose delivery; and what you ordered, any notes, and when you want it.
- Accounts — if you sign in, your name and email address from the sign-in provider, so you can see your order history.
- Sign-ups — your name, phone number, and quantity when you join a group buy or a similar offer.
- Notifications — if you allow them, your browser’s push-notification address, used only to send you updates about your order.
How it is used
The business uses this information to prepare, deliver, and contact you about your order or sign-up. We access it only to run, support, and secure the site. Neither the business nor Rising Company sells it, rents it, or uses it for advertising.
Payments
Unless a Business Site says otherwise, you pay the business directly, in person. We do not collect or store card numbers.
// 04 — How We Use Your Information
- To respond to messages and inquiries you send us.
- To operate, maintain, and secure the Site.
- To comply with legal obligations when required.
We never sell or rent your personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising.
// 05 — Service Providers
We rely on a small number of trusted providers to run the Site and Business Sites. Each only receives the data needed to do its job:
- Formspree — processes and delivers contact-form submissions to us.
- Vercel — hosts the Site and keeps standard server logs.
- Google Fonts — serves the typefaces used on the Site, which may involve your browser’s IP address being seen by Google.
Business Sites also use:
- Convex — stores Business Site data such as menus, orders, and sign-ups.
- Clerk — handles sign-in when you create an account.
- Google Maps — shows the business’s location in an embedded map, which loads from Google.
- Your browser’s push service (such as Apple, Google, or Mozilla) — delivers order notifications if you turn them on.
These providers maintain their own privacy practices, and we encourage you to review them.
// 06 — Cookies
The Site does not set its own tracking or advertising cookies. Our service providers may use strictly necessary cookies to deliver and secure their services. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.
On Business Sites, signing in sets cookies that keep you signed in. Your cart and the contact details you entered at checkout are saved in your own browser (local storage) so you don’t have to re-enter them. That data stays on your device until you clear it.
// 07 — Data Retention
We keep contact-form messages only as long as needed to handle your inquiry and maintain a reasonable record of our correspondence. You can ask us to delete your message at any time.
On Business Sites, we keep order and sign-up records as long as the business needs them to run its operations, keep its books, and meet its legal obligations. When a business stops using our service, we delete its customer data or return it to the business.
// 08 — Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, email hi@rising.company and we’ll respond promptly. For a Business Site, you can also contact the business directly. We will work with it to handle your request.
// 09 — Children’s Privacy
The Site and Business Sites are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
// 10 — Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be reflected here on this page.
